How do I email or text my event guests?

Open the event’s Overview and choose Make an Announcement. Pick email, in-app notification, text or any mix, write the message, preview it and send. Texts go only to guests who opted in to updates and verified their phone. Email needs a ready sending address. SocialLoop-managed sending opens gradually; your own verified domain is optional.
Step by step
- Open the event’s Overview and choose Make an Announcement.
- Choose the channels: Email and In-app notification are on by default; turn on SMS to text opted-in guests.
- Write the message, choose Continue, check the preview and choose Send announcement.
- For a text-only update, go to Promote, then SMS Blasts, write the update, review it and confirm the send.

Good to know
Texts must be updates about the event itself, with no promotion of other events or services. SocialLoop adds your host introduction and the event link.
Announcement emails count toward the applicable monthly email allowance. New communities have their own email/SMS plan; check Plan & credits for balances and daily delivery limits.
